Michael Jordan congratulates Bubba Wallace, Tyler Reddick after successful Roval race

Michael Jordan congratulates Bubba Wallace, Tyler Reddick after successful Roval race

Today went about as well as it could go for 23XI Racing all things considered. That made Michael Jordan very happy. MJ was at the track and was more than excited to see Bubba Wallace earn a top-10 and Tyler Reddick advance in the NASCAR Playoffs.

Reddick put up a clutch performance. He had damage in the race after contact with his other boss, Denny Hamlin. The No. 45 Toyota Camry lifted up so far in the back that Reddick believed he was going to do a front flip.

Michael Jordan was proud of his driver. He made it to pit road to speak with Hamlin and Reddick and tell them both good job.

One team. One dream.

The GOAT also stopped by to speak with Bubba Wallace. The P9 finish was his second top-10 on the Roval in his career. A big improvement in his road course racing ability has been showing up this season.

No matter how many races he goes to, having Michael Jordan involved in NASCAR is awesome. Legal actions aside, 23XI Racing is good for the sport. I’d argue the legal actions are also good for the sport. But that’s just me.

Seeing MJ at the track every week is awesome. It will only put more eyes on the Cup Series and NASCAR in general. Today, his drivers came away with a couple of top-11 finishes and did what they had to do. Reddick almost sneaked into the top-10 but couldn’t quite get there.

Michael Jordan still has a shot at NASCAR championship

With Tyler Reddick making it to the Round of 8, Michael Jordan still has a chance to win a championship in NASCAR this year. The best news of all, this is the perfect round of Reddick and his strengths.

In five Next Gen races at Las Vegas, Reddick has an average finish of 7.6 and a best finish of P2. He also has a pole there. Reddick has finishes of P4, P2, and P3 at Homestead-Miami, as well as a P35 DNF.

Martinsville is the one big issue. Reddick only has two top-10 finishes there in nine races. The good news, he earned his career-best finish of P7 there earlier this season. So, perhaps he is ready to tackle the Paperclip after all.

Michael Jordan is still in the NASCAR Playoffs with Tyler Reddick as his driver. The postseason is when the Jumpman did his best work. Now it’s time for Reddick to follow suit.
