Marquez Valdes-Scantling carted to locker room after injury
Not much has happened on the field during Saturday’s preseason game between the Buffalo Bills and Pittsburgh Steelers. Unfortunately, a few injuries have occurred, with Bills wide receiver Marquez Valdes-Scantling being the latest.
Valdes-Scantling was originally down on the ground, with the training staff calling for a stretcher. Thankfully, using it was not required as Valdes-Scantling was able to walk off under his own power. An exact injury is not yet known but there was not a return to the game.
Not too long thereafter, Valdes-Scantling was seen leaving the field for the locker room on a cart. He was in the front seat and not lying down in the back.

Valdes-Scantling is entering his first season with Buffalo after previously playing for the Kansas City Chiefs and Green Bay Packers. There was a lot of team success in Kansas City as Valdes-Scantling has two Super Bowl rings sitting in his house. Having your quarterbacks be Aaron Rodgers, Patrick Mahomes, and Josh Allen is certainly not a bad gig.
In six seasons in the NFL, Valdes-Scantling has 186 receptions for 3,155 yards and 16 touchdowns.
