Mark Stoops crowd surfs in the locker room after Kentucky upsets Ole Miss
The last time Mark Stoops crowd surfed was Kentucky’s win at Missouri in 2018, a clip that still lives on in SEC Network montages. After the Cats’ 20-17 upset of No. 6 Ole Miss, Stoops made the leap again, letting his players carry him as they celebrated a statement win, Kentucky’s biggest on the road since upsetting No. 4 Penn State in 1977.
Thanks to Barion Brown and a few other Cats who went live, we’ve got footage. Warning, some language is NSFW:

“You saw that already?” Stoops said of the clip of him surfing in the postgame press conference. “It’s viral? It goes quick. Yeah. I tried to tuck my shirt in. I’m probably a little more sore.”
“Stoops was in the air,” Dane Key said. “When Stoops is in the air, that’s a pretty good thing.”
“It’s amazing,” Octavious Oxendine, who sacked Jackson Dart twice today, said. “It was a battle getting him up there.”
What a victory. Here are a few more reactions from Twitter, including a victory lap by Vince Marrow and some comments from Kentucky Football NIL donor Rick Pitino.
