Major running back recruiting intel

The On3 RPM favors Ohio State for Santa Ana (Calif.) Mater Dei On300 running back Jordon Davison.
The intel no longer says that’s true.
Michigan has also been close to snagging the blue-chipper’s verbal. There was some positive buzz for the Maize and Blue coming out of his official visit the first weekend of June and that ramped back up this week.
Perhaps that has halted.
Oregon is another contender in the mix for Davison and this is shaping up to be a Wolverines vs Ducks recruitment down the stretch.
A decision is expected this week.
The On3 Industry tabs Davison as the nation’s No. 5 running back and No. 91 prospect overall. Oregon sits at No. 8 in the On3 Industry Rankings and Michigan is strong at No. 14.
Ohio State maintains the No. 1 class and they’re looking for another back. Top targets remain Alabama commit Anthony Rogers who took an unofficial this summer and Shekai Mills-Knight.
While Rogers looks around, having also visited Georgia, the new Crimson Tide staff has their eye on a couple running backs committed elsewhere in Ole Miss commit Akylin Dear and USC verbal Harry Dalton. Dear is On3’s No. 2 running back and the intel is starting to favor the Crimson Tide following his recent official visit to Tuscaloosa.
