Luke Lachey healthy for Iowa’s opener

There might not be a player on the Iowa roster more excited about the opening game of the 2024 season than Luke Lachey. It’s been an almost one year journey for the Iowa tight end since he broke his ankle in the third week of the season. Even in fall camp, he was limited at Kids Day, but, on Tuesday he pronounced himself 100% ready for the opener against Illinois State.

Lachey talks about Kirk Ferentz missing the opener, how Tim Lester is using the tight ends and specifically how the new offense is approaching the run game for his position group.
