LSU set to host 4-star DB for unofficial visit

2025 Little Rock (Ark.) Parkview Magnet four-star safety Omarion Robinson will unofficially visit LSU this weekend, he told On3’s Steve Wiltfong.

Alabama, Arkansas, Georgia, Ohio State, Oklahoma, Oregon, Texas, Tennessee and USC are some of the programs involved in his recruiting process. LSU is making a push for the four-star prospect.

He’s planning to make a decision on June 29. The Sooners lead the On3 Recruiting Prediction Machine over multiple programs, including LSU.

“I’m looking for a bond with the coaches and good facilities,” Robinson said last summer of what he’s looking for in a program. “I’m looking at the DBs that left the school. Then, I’m looking at how the coaches can develop me as a player and coaches that are going to take care of you on and off the field.”

LSU offered him Feb. 1 as new safeties coach Jake Olsen began slotting his recruiting board.

According to the On3 Industry Ranking, a weighted average that utilizes all four major recruiting media companies, Robinson is the No. 300 overall prospect in the country, No. 28 safety in the nation and No. 2 prospect in Arkansas for the 2025 recruiting class.

LSU is currently working on On3’s No. 2 ranked recruiting class. If the Tigers can land Robinson, that’d be a big boost for a safety room that needs more help building back depth.
