LSU MBB sets official visit date with California shooting guard
LSU continues to put together its board for the 2025 class and in doing so locks in visits for the fall. The latest player to lock in a visit is Mazi Mosley, a 6-foot-4 shooting guard from California.
Mosley tells On3 he has set his official visit date to LSU for the weekend of Sept. 8. That weekend LSU football hosts Nicholls in Tiger Stadium and classes are in full swing, giving Mosley the best opportunity to see LSU at full force.
Mosley is ranked as the No. 58 player in the country according to the On3 Industry Rankings and has offers from several west coast programs including San Diego State, California, Arizona State, and Washington. LSU just had success pulling Vyctorious Miller from the west coast and now is back for another high-level shooting guard.
Here is On3 Jamie Shaw’s evaluation of Mosley after the NBPA Top 100 Camp, where he listed him as one of the top performers over the course of the week.
“[Mosley] has long carried the reputation as a shooter. Pushing 6-foot-6, he has long arms and played with good balance. The shot was clean off the catch and off the bounce. He was also comfortable getting to spots in the half-court off one or two dribbles. He will need to continue getting more consistent, especially playing off the ball. But the shot-making aspect was intriguing this week.”
LSU just hosted a pair of top 10 point guards in the 2025 class with Nyk Lewis and King Grace and has Jalen Reece and Jasir Rencher scheduled for the fall already as well. More official visit dates will continue to roll in this summer as the Tigers lock in their board for the 2025 class.
