LSU dishes out numerous offers to 2025 4-star recruits

The first day of junior recruiting came on Tuesday as colleges were allowed to contact 2025 recruits. LSU was one of the schools shooting out edits, pictures and more. Brian Kelly’s staff was busy offering a few highly-touted prospects.

Troy (Ala.) Charles Henderson EDGE Zion Grady was the highest-ranked prospect on the On3 Industry Ranking, a weighted average that utilizes all four major recruiting media companies, to earn an offer from the Tigers.

Grady told On3 on Sunday that he’s down to Alabama, Georgia, Florida State, Tennessee, Auburn, Oregon, Michigan, Texas, Louisville and USC. Now, LSU’s in the mix for him and will work to get him in Baton Rouge.

He’s the No. 32 overall prospect in the country, No. 4 EDGE prospect in the nation and No. 5 prospect in Alabama. Auburn holds the On3 Recruiting Prediction Machine lead.

LSU extends multiple tight end offers

On the day the Tigers reeled in 2025 four-star Sulphur Springs (La.) tight end and LSU legacy JD LaFleur, offensive coordinator Mike Denbrock offered other prospects as well.

Jasper (Tex.) tight end Kiotti Armstrong added an offer from the Tigers. The 6-5, 245-pounder is a Top 150 overall prospect and the No. 4 tight end in America. TCU leads the On3 Recruiting Prediction Machine early on for him.

Sticking in Texas, LSU offered Southlake Carroll (Tex.) tight end Jack VanDorselaer. The four-star prospect comes in as the No. 242 overall prospect and No. 12 tight end nationally. Baylor leads the On3 Recruiting Prediction Machine over Texas, Texas Tech and others.

Denbrock turned his attention north of the Lone Star State, offering Weatherford (Okla.) athlete CJ Nickson. The four-star prospect is the top-ranked recruit in Oklahoma while holding the No. 55 overall spot in the country and No. 5 athlete in the nation. The in-state Sooners are the heavy On3 RPM favorite.

Finally, LSU offensive line coach Brad Davis got in on the fun. He offered Sunshine State standout Max Buchanan, who is On3’s No. 3 interior offensive lineman in the 2025 class. He’s the No. 111 overall prospect and No. 21 prospect in Florida for On3. In-state Florida State leads the On3 RPM for the Sanford (Fla.) Seminole standout.
