Louisville QB commit Briggs Cherry lands Elite 11 Finals invite

Another quarterback has landed an invitation to the Elite 11 Finals this summer in Los Angeles. Following a standout performance at the Ohio Regional this weekend, Louisville QB commit Briggs Cherry has added his name to the list of top signal-callers headed to the Golden State.
He’s the fifth passer to land an invite to the prestigious camp, joining Texas five-star commit Dia Bell, Houston five-star signal-caller Keisean Henderson, Tennessee five-star pledge Faizon Brandon and Miami four-star QB Dereon Coleman.
There are few higher honors for prep quarterbacks than being invited to the event, which will celebrate its 26th year in 2025. It bring together 20 of the country’s elite signal-callers for three days of competition and training in Los Angeles during the month of June.
Elite 11 alumni include Carson Palmer, Andrew Luck, Matthew Stafford, Tim Tebow, and more recently Trevor Lawrence, C.J. Stroud, Bryce Young and more. Last year’s Elite 11 Finals featured more than a dozen of the top 20 quarterbacks in the final On3 Industry Rankings, including five of the top six players at the position.
Cherry, a Knoxville (Tenn.) Baylor School three-star prospect, is the No. 610 overall prospect and No. 35 QB in the 2026 cycle, according to the On3 Industry Ranking, a weighted average that utilizes all four major recruiting media companies. He’s also the No. 17 player in Tennessee.
