Looking Ahead: Eight 2025 Targets to Watch for FSU Football (Offense)

Looking Ahead: Eight 2025 Targets to Watch for FSU Football (Offense)

As we enter a brief lull between Florida State’s flurry of commitments earlier in the week and some more announcements expected later this month, now is a good time to take a quick look to the future.

FSU already has two commitments for the 2025 class — quarterback Tramell Jones and receiver DL Hardison — but the Seminoles are making moves for several other as well.

Here’s a look at Eight Florida State Targets to Watch on offense for the 2025 class. Next up, we will break down eight targets on defense.

Eight FSU targets to watch on offense

Four-star RB Ousmane Kromah of Georgia

The Skinny on Kromah & FSU

FSU has had success in Lee County, Ga., in the past, and Kromah is one that is very high on the ‘Noles. He has visited them more than any school. Georgia is starting to push more, but Florida State has been on his mind, and he is highly impressed with FSU’s running game.

Four-star WR Caleb Cunningham of Mississippi

The Skinny on Cunningham & FSU

Cunningham visited FSU, Florida and Ole Miss in the spring. Following the FSU visit, Cunningham said that the Seminoles were No. 1. Of course, it’s still early and we know that the in-state Rebels are going to be a strong factor. I also expect Alabama to likely get involved in this one. The explosive receiver is likely to visit FSU again in late July, based on the latest intel.

Four-star WR Dallas Wilson of Tampa (Oregon commit)

The Skinny on Wilson & FSU

He’s currently committed to Oregon, but I’m hearing this recruitment is still open. He visited FSU in the spring and is expected back for a game or two this fall. Miami is another school that is in the picture. Wilson is intrigued by what FSU does with its big receivers, so I expect to see more of him on campus. His 6-3 frame is very attractive to the ‘Noles.

Four-star TE Elyiss Williams of Georgia (Georgia commit)

The Skinny on Williams & FSU

In the 2024 class, the Seminoles flipped Landen Thomas from UGA. In the ’25 class, they’d love to do it with Williams. And while this will be a tougher flip because Williams grew up a fan of Georgia, FSU is very much in this one. The top tight end visited the ‘Noles in late-June for his third visit so far. I expect the ‘Noles to keep pushing hard on this one as the communication has been pretty strong, and Williams is still showing interest. Would be big if he attends a game or two this fall.

Four-star OL Solomon Thomas of Jacksonville

The Skinny on Thomas & FSU

I feel this is the Seminoles’ top offensive line target, and that’s saying something with this group in 2025. I also believe Florida State is sitting in a good spot here. There are others in the picture, including Miami, Georgia and Florida, but that connection with Alex Atkins is very unique. The fact that he came back to work out with Atkins this summer at the Elite Camp was another good sign.

Four-star OL Ziyarre Addison of Tampa

The Skinny on Addison & FSU

This is a recruitment that has blown up with some big-time new offers, including Oklahoma. Clemson, Georgia and others are involved as well. However, I feel very good about the ‘Noles’ position in this recruitment, and he could be the first to pop for FSU in the 2025 OL class. Florida State was his first offer at camp a year ago, and the relationship has only gotten stronger. He also visited FSU multiples times this summer.

Four-star OL Max Buchanan of Sanford, Fla.

The Skinny on Buchanan & FSU

Buchanan is another that visited FSU for the big Seminole Showcase event inside Doak Campbell earlier this summer. He loves Atkins as well, and ever since FSU offered, this recruitment has been mostly about the ‘Noles. There are others in the mix, such as Central Florida, Florida, Miami and Auburn, but FSU has been trending the most. Expecting another visit to FSU in the coming weeks.

Four-star OL Peyton Joseph of Georgia

The Skinny on Joseph & FSU

I mentioned a few guys who could commit early, and I would include Joseph in that group. He’s a very talented interior lineman who has had FSU as his No. 1 since last year. And that has been by a wide margin. Clemson is now getting more involved, and Georgia has been in the picture. But FSU remains in very good shape here, and Joseph is another reason why the ‘Noles are very excited about the 2025 OL class.
