LOOK: Top Notre Dame recruits on campus for Blue-Gold Game
One of Notre Dame’s biggest recruiting weekends each year is for the Blue-Gold Game, and quality prospects flocked to South Bend on Saturday.
By the time the game started, Notre Dame had 10 commitments in the 2024 class. Hoschton (Ga.) Mill Creek vyper Cole Mullins pledged to the Irish a couple of hours before kickoff.
Of the 10 verbals, eight of them were on campus Saturday. From left to right, Jack Larsen, wide receiver Cam Williams, defensive lineman Owen Wafle, quarterback CJ Carr, cornerback Karson Hobbs, cornerback Leonard Moore and running back Aneyas Williams are pictured in the photo above. Offensive lineman Anthonie Knapp was also on campus but was not around for the picture.
Fishers (Ind.) Hamilton Southeastern’s Styles Prescod, the No. 591 overall player and No. 45 interior lineman per the 2024 On3 Industry Ranking, made it back to South Bend. He was also at Notre Dame last weekend. The in-state product is considered a Fighting Irish lean, and it wouldn’t be a shock to see him end up on the Notre Dame commit list.
Charlotte (N.C.) Christian’s Bryce Young is pictured with former Irish standout and current Baltimore Ravens safety Kyle Hamilton in the photo below. Young, who ranks as the No. 314 overall player and No. 21 EDGE according to the 2024 On3 Industry Ranking, is also considered a Notre Dame lean.
He made the trip with his father — Irish legend Bryant Young — who was honored during the game.
One of Notre Dame’s top targets in the 2025 class was on campus for the Blue-Gold Game. Tampa (Fla.) Berkeley Prep’s Dallas Golden, the nation’s No. 59 player and No. 4 safety per the On3 Industry Ranking, got a first look at campus.
Bellflower (Calif.) St. John Bosco’s Kyngstonn Viliamu-Asa, the No. 114 overall prospect and No. 10 linebacker nationally per the 2024 On3 Industry Ranking, has tried to visit Notre Dame on several occasions over the past few months and finally make it back to campus this weekend. His first time on campus was last year for the Blue-Gold Game, interestingly enough. He’s another prospect considered to be a Notre Dame lean.
A name for Notre Dame fans to get more familiar with is Philadelphia Monsignor Bonner’s Mylachi Williams, the No. 321 player and No. 22 EDGE in America per the 2024 On3 Industry Ranking. This weekend was his first experience in South Bend.
