At 6-foot-3, 235 pounds, the On3 Industry Ranking four-star is popping up on radars across the country. Texas, Texas A&M, USC, Washington, Missouri, Texas Tech, Colorado State, UTSA, SMU, Texas State, and Central Florida have all offered the rising prospect from the Golden Triangle.
“I love Texas,” Riles told Inside Texas. “It’s a great school with great coaching. My cousin Jaylon Guilbeau plays at Texas. I would also love to take a visit to Austin.”
Riles is a big, twitchy athlete that also plays basketball. He projects to the defensive line at the next level, while moonlighting at defensive end and EDGE for Memorial.
As a sophomore, Riles tallied 45 tackles, 24 tackles for loss, three sacks, two forced fumbles, and one fumble recovery en route to all-district honors.
Riles ranks as the No. 56 player in the On3 Industry Ranking, a weighted average that utilizes all four major recruiting media companies. He also tabs in as the No. 5 defensive end and the No. 6 player in the state of Texas. On3 rates him higher, as the No. 12 overall prospect, No. 3 defensive end, and No. 1 player in the Lone Star state.
He currently has an On3 NIL Valuation of $41K. The On3 NIL Valuation is the industry’s leading index that sets high school and college athletes’ projected annual value (PAV). The NIL valuation does not act as a tracker of the value of NIL deals an athlete has completed to date. It rather signifies an athlete’s value at a certain moment in time.
