Live Updates: Tennessee eyes series win over Florida in rubber match finale

GAINESVILLE, Fla. — Tennessee and Florida get after it again from Condron Family Ballpark Saturday night at 6:30 p.m. eastern time with the Southeastern Conference series on the line.

The No. 3 Vols (38-9, 16-7 SEC) took game one of Friday’s doubleheader 6-2 before falling to the Gators (24-22, 10-13 SEC) 4-3 in the nightcap. Thursday’s originally scheduled game one was postponed due to rain in the Gainesville area.

Left-handed hurler Zander Sechrist (1-0, 3.89 ERA) will get the start on the mound for Tennessee while lefty Jac Caglianone (5-0, 4.10 ERA) will start for Florida. The Vols will finish off the series with the Gators on Saturday before returning home to welcome Queens on Tuesday for midweek action.
