Live Updates: Tennessee eyes first series-win on road with game two at Georgia
Tennessee baseball is back in action this afternoon, looking to pick up its first series-victory of the season on the road with game two at Georgia set for a 2 pm first pitch. The Vols picked up a game one victory 12-3 on Friday night.
During the win, Tennessee (32-14, 12-10 SEC) pounded out 12 runs with a couple of big offensive innings that came late. Christian Moore homered twice and Camden Sewell came on to get the Vols out of a critical two-on, one-out jam in the fifth inning. Georgia (25-21, 8-14 SEC) failed to hit with runners in scoring position despite racking up multiple hits on the day.
Right-hander Chase Dollander (5-4, 4.24 ERA) will get the nod for the Vols and will square off against lefty Charlie Goldstein (3-1, 4.50 ERA). First pitch is scheduled for 2 pm ET and will be streamed on the SEC Network+.
