Live Updates: Tennessee and Arkansas kickoff three-game set in Fayetteville on a Friday night
Tennessee and Arkansas get after it on the diamond this weekend with the three-game series beginning Friday night at 8 o’clock eastern time in Fayetteville. It’ll be the first time the two programs have met since Hoover back in 2021.
The Vols (23-10, 5-7 SEC) have dropped back-to-back series, two games to one, at LSU and against Florida at Lindsey Nelson Stadium. Both of those victories in the series came in game three. The Razorbacks (26-7, 8-4) have won consecutive series in two games to one fashion against Alabama and at Ole Miss.
Needing a spark on the mound early on, Tennessee is shuffling its starting rotation with Andrew Lindsey (0-1, 2.01 ERA) getting the call for game one. He’ll counter with a southpaw by the name of Hunter Hollan (5-1, 3.00 ERA) for Arkansas.
Tonight’s contest will be televised on the SEC Network while Saturday and Sunday’s games will be streamed on the SEC Network+.
