Live Game Updates: Tennessee welcomes West Georgia for final test prior to SEC play
Tennessee baseball is back in action Tuesday afternoon from Lindsey Nelson Stadium at 4:30 eastern time with West Georgia for the final challenge before Southeastern Conference play begins on Friday.
The Vols (16-0) are off to the best start in program history and are ranked No. 1 in four of the five major polls. The Wolves (8-6) were picked 12th in the Preseason Atlantic Sun poll under sixth-year head coach Jeff Smith. This will be the first meeting between the two programs.
Freshman right-hander Brayden Krenzel (0-0. 0.00 ERA) will make his first start for the Tennessee in what will be his fifth appearance.
