La Familia, The Ville get into postgame altercation after TBT quarterfinal
Kentucky still owns the Bluegrass State after La Familia defeated The Ville 70-61 in the TBT quarterfinals Monday night.
After Andrew Harrison’s game-winning three-pointer ended the high-intensity matchup, tensions flared almost immediately on the court postgame. Aaron Harrison and Chinanu Onuaku appeared to make contact with one another, and Aaron continued to jaw at him after the fact.
Security and both coaching staffs got in the middle of them to break it up. Andrew Harrison was able to break free of the security to get closer to the Louisville locker room where he continued to jaw at the Louisville players.
A full-on pushing and shoving matchup then happened but was broken up and both sides went to their respective locker rooms.
What was said is unknown, but the emotion of the rivalry was on full display in Freedom Hall all night from the fans in the arena and players on the court.
La Familia now advances to the TBT semifinals, where they’ll take on Carmen’s Crew, who are Ohio State alumni.
