Kyle Larson wins Bristol Xfinity Series race, dominates from start to finish

In a tough week for the entire Hendrick Motorsports organization, Kyle Larson dominates the Xfinity Series field at Bristol. He was as fantastic as he was at Homestead-Miami, but no late caution would come out and steal this one from the NASCAR champion.
On Thursday night, it was announced that Jon Edwards had passed away at the age of 53. He had served as Jeff Gordon’s PR rep for many years. Edwards returned to Hendrick in 2021 to work with Kyle Larson and help revive his career.
An emotional week and a dominating performance. Two races down, one win in his pocket, and one more race to go. He was asked what it meant to win this race for his friend, Jon.
“Damn good, for sure. It’s awesome,” Larson said on the frontstretch after the win. “I wish I could have won last night, but just came up a little short. Cool to get a win this weekend for Jon and everybody who’s been a part of his life.”
This is a developing story…
