Kentucky WR Dekel Crowdus arrested early Sunday morning on DUI, drug charges per police reports

Kentucky wide receiver and Lexington native Dekel Crowdus was arrested Sunday morning and charged with driving under the influence, marijuana possession and careless driving, according to Lexington Police records.
Crowdus, 20, is entering his third season at Kentucky as a redshirt sophomore out of Frederick Douglass High School. He was due for a breakout season in 2023, as offensive coordinator Liam Coen dubbed him as one of UK’s most reliable wide receivers on the field.
He took a redshirt as a true freshman in 2021 before playing 10 games during the 2022 season. He totaled 71 snaps, having four receptions on six targets for 82 yards to show for it.
