Kentucky target Jayden Quaintance reclassifies to 2024

Things are moving quickly with one of the fastest-rising bigs in high school basketball. Jayden Quaintance, originally a member of the 2025 class, has decided to reclassify to 2024 following a standout grassroots season.
The 6-foot-10, 225-pound center started the spring playing alongside fellow Kentucky target Jasper Johnson with Team Thad on the Nike EYBL circuit before closing out the summer with Team Loaded in the Adidas 3SSB championships.
Travis Graf of MADE Hoops broke the news of the five-star’s jump from ’25 to ’24.
Quaintance is currently rated as the No. 6 overall prospect and No. 1 center in the latest 2025 On3 Rankings.
Where will he sit in a historically weak 2024 class? Certainly near the top.
