Keaten Wade, Savion Riley, Sam Hart not listed on Colorado’s spring roster amid Isaiah Augustave news

Isaiah Augustave wasn’t the only surprise for Colorado on Wednesday as three other players are now no longer listed on the spring roster. According to Sko Buff Sports, Colorado’s student-run media outlet, defensive end Keaten Wade, safety Savion Riley and tight end Sam Hart are also missing.
There has been no official confirmation as to whether any of those three players are not with the team anymore. Augustave, however, has been confirmed to be off the team.
Wade was the biggest contributor of the three a season ago. After missing the first six games of the season due to injury, he returned for the second half of the year to finish with 20 tackles (7.5 for loss), four sacks, three QB hurries and a fumble recovery.
This past season was Wade’s first with the Buffaloes after spending the first two years of his college career at Kentucky. He was a four-star recruit out of high school in 2022 and was considered the No. 26 edge rusher in the transfer portal last season according to the On3 Industry Ranking.
Riley appeared in nine games in 2024 to finish with 12 tackles, including one for loss. He played 85 special teams snaps as well as 77 defensive snaps.
Hart was a transfer from Ohio State last season and had two years of eligibilty left when he joined the Buffaloes. He played in the first six games but made only one catch for -1 yards.
Colorado’s spring game is a little more than one week away on April 19, so we’ll at least get an update on the roster situation by then. The spring transfer portal window opens on April 16, and any player who wishes to enter their name must do so before April 25.
Colorado RB Isaiah Augustave no longer with program
Colorado running back Isaiah Augustave is no longer with the program, according to DNVR’s Scott Procter. He led the Buffaloes in rushing last season.
Augustave arrived at CU last season from Arkansas and immediately became a key part of the rushing attack. He led the program with 384 rushing yards and four touchdowns as Colorado used a pass-heavy offense en route to an 8-4 overall record and Alamo Bowl appearance. He also added nine receptions for 53 yards.
Prior to his arrival in Boulder, Augustave spent one year at Arkansas as a freshman. He appeared in 11 games and made one start, totaling 202 yards and a touchdown on 35 carries. He also had 101 yards against FIU that year.
Augustave played high school football at Naples (Fla.), where he was a four-star prospect. He was the No. 298 overall player and No. 19-ranked running back from the 2023 cycle, according to the On3 Industry Ranking, a weighted average that utilizes all four major recruiting media companies.
