Josh Allen reveals message to Lamar Jackson in touching postgame meeting after Bills-Ravens
Lamar Jackson and Josh Allen delivered yet another classic on Sunday in their AFC Divisional matchup in the 2025 NFL Playoffs. Mark Andrews had a critical drop on a two-point conversion, and the Bills ran out the clock in the final seconds of the game, as Buffalo came away with a 27-25 victory. In the end, both quarterbacks showed that they still have great respect for each other.
Following the game, Josh Allen spoke with Tracy Wolfson on the field. Allen went over to hug Jackson immediately after the game and the two shared a moment together (above). What did he say to the Baltimore Ravens star?
“I’ve just got so much respect and love for him. The way he plays the game. He’s a true competitor. He’s a true football player. One of the greatest ever to step on the football field. So, nothing but love,” Allen explained.
When Allen saw Mark Andrews drop that two point conversion, what was going through his head?
“How about that Buffalo Bills defense? All year this team has heard we’ve got no talent. We’re too small. We can’t stop the run. We’re not good enough to compete. We just put our head down and worked hard. I’m so proud of our defense. I’m so proud of our offense. Special teams. What a complete win. Honestly, on the offensive side of the ball, we wished we scored a little more, so we didn’t have to take it down to the fourth quarter like that. But that’s a really good team. Credit to them as well,” Allen continued.
