Joe Burrow out of practice, considered day-to-day

Still dealing with a calf issue that he re-aggravating during Sunday’s loss to the Ravens, Bengals quarterback Joe Burrow did not practice on Thursday. NFL Network’s Mike Garafolo reported the news.
Cincinnati dropped a 27-24 contest to Baltimore to fall to 0-2 on Sunday. After the game, Burrow said he “tweaked” something in his calf. At the time, the severity of the injury was unknown.
Burrow sustained a calf strain during training camp in the summer. He missed significant time, and clearly he hasn’t quite returned to 100%. The quarterback is listed as “day-to-day.”
Cincinnati returns to action on Monday Night Football in Week 3 to play the Los Angeles Rams. Burrow’s status for the game remains in question.
