Jay Higgins old friend now a foe

Jay Higgins was early on in grade school when he first met the Tracy family. He was playing basketball with the younger brother of Tyrone Tracy at the time and become friend with the entire family. Eventually, Higgins joined the Iowa football program and was a teammate of Tyrone Tracy.

These days, Tracy is playing at Purdue and Higgins is Iowa’s starting middle linebacker. Tracy has moved from wide receiver to running back and he’s having a very solid season. But, we can all expect the two friends to meet several times on Saturday afternoon at Kinnick Stadium.

Higgins talks about facing the Purdue offense and his relationship with the Tracy family.
