Jalen Hurts injury update: Adam Schefter updates Eagles QB’s status after limited participant listing

Philadelphia Eagles star quarterback Jalen Hurts is expected to play against the Washington Commanders in Sunday’s NFC Championship Game, despite suffering a knee injury during a win over the Rams on Sunday.

ESPN insider Adam Schefter provided an injury update on Hurts Thursday morning on Get Up. Schefter revealed that while Hurts is expected to play, it remains to be seen how close to 100 percent he will be.

“As for the Philadelphia Eagles and their quarterback Jalen Hurts, he intends to play Sunday’s NFC Championship Game against the Washington Commanders, despite the fact that he suffered a knee injury against the Rams… went out of the game,” Adam Schefter said. “Was a limited participant in Wednesday’s walk-through practice.

“Saquan Barkley said he expects Jalen Hurts to be Jalen Hurts. But we don’t know exactly what Jalen Hurts will be and how healthy he’ll be out there on Sunday. And we may not know until we actually get to see him against the Commanders. But he could certainly not be at full strength. And that would impact the Eagles offense.”
