IOL target Kaden Strayhorn eager for Ohio State official visit

COLUMBUS — Ohio State kicks off its 2025 official visit weekends starting Friday when the first batch of 2025 prospects make their way to campus.
Lettermen Row counts 10 official visits will happen this weekend. We ran through the list on Tuesday and will do so again on Friday.
One of those visitors is three-star Bradenton (Fla) IMG Academy interior offensive lineman Kaden Strayhorn. The No. 443 overall prospect and No. 38 interior offensive lineman in the On3 Industry Rankings returns to Ohio State for his official visit. Strayhorn was last on campus in the summer for a camp.
Strayhorn may not have been discussed much with Ohio State recruiting, but he has a very solid relationship with offensive line coach Justin Frye and graduate assistant Mike Sollenne.
“It’s been very consistent with Ohio State,” Strayhorn told Lettermen Row. “Ever since I got the offer last summer, it’s been very smooth sailing with Coach Frye and I think that him as a coach, he’s very good — so is Coach Sollenne.
“The consistency with me and my younger brother is a very big reason why we like Ohio State.”
With only one trip to Columbus logged so far, there is plenty Strayhorn hasn’t seen. The camp last summer showcased the Woody Hayes Athletic Center, but there’s much more to Ohio State. He tells Lettermen Row he’s most excited to see Ohio Stadium. Strayhorn’s dad, Jason, played at Michigan State and he’s close family friends with former Buckeye LeCharles Bentley — who won the 2001 Rimington Trophy as the best center in college football.
Strayhorn trains with Bentley in the offseason and mentioned that his mentor is always talking about Ohio State. The Buckeyes are recruiting Strayhorn as a center and the parallels should be noteworthy given his mentors are both former college centers.
“The main thing for me this weekend is just seeing everything,” Strayhorn said. “I’ve heard a lot of good things about Ohio State and I just need to see everything.”
Strayhorn won’t be the only offensive lineman on campus this weekend. Four-star Fort Worth (Texas) North Crowley interior offensive lineman Henry Fenuku makes his official visit as well. There’s a slight chance that Ohio State offensive tackle commit Carter Lowe will make the trip to Columbus as well, just to be around some of the guys.
The only other official visit Strayhorn has locked in for the summer is Michigan from June 21 to June 23.
