Indiana at Ohio State: Live updates, score, highlights
Indiana is 10-0 for the first time in program history, ranked No. 5 in the nation and on track to secure a College Football Playoff berth. But the first true test of the season is Saturday’s top-five matchup at Ohio State. Head coach Curt Cignetti has turned around the program’s future in his first season, in part thanks to bringing players with him from James Madison and utilizing the transfer portal.
Playing perfect football to this point should matter. But Saturday’s game will be the first and only game against a ranked opponent this season for Indiana. Whether it is right or wrong that the committee will play out hypotheticals if the Hoosiers can compete in the playoff, they will as these final weeks approach.
Saturday’s game will significantly impact how the CFP committee views Indiana. The Hoosiers were slated at No. 5 College Football Playoff rankings earlier this week. Indiana would host Ole Miss if the playoff started Saturday.
Indiana and Ohio State are set for a Noon ET kick on FOX. Gus Johnson and Joel Klatt are on the call.
