‘I like Ole Miss. I want to try to get up there’: Three-star WR Nehemiah Taylor excited for spring, trip to Ole Miss
Oak Grove (Miss.) wide receiver Nehemiah Taylor recently transferred from Petal High School to the Hattiesburg program. And despite his recruitment still not taken off like he hoped, he has plans for his spring and summer.
“I got a visit set up to Southern Miss and one to Tulane,” Taylor said. “Anyone that talks to me, though, I will go check them out.”
Ole Miss has yet to offer, but the two parties have connected already.
“They came by my school already and talked with me,” Taylor said. “That’s it. But my teammates talk to me about Ole Miss a lot.”
Head coach Lane Kiffin and staff have extended offers to both of Taylor’s teammates, Caleb Moore and PJ Woodland.
Despite the lack of offers, Nehemiah Taylor knows what he’s going to do when the time comes.
“I want to keep my options open. I just moved schools and people need to see me,” Taylor said. “And I will do a top schools list. Break it down to five or three maybe.”

Southern Miss is his only offer right now. But, Mississippi State and Tulane are showing interest and he tells OMSpirit he just heard from Jacksonville State. He was a standout performer at the Austin OT7 event for Mississippi-based Heat 7v7 and should add more offers this fall.
Wide receivers coach Derrick Nix and coordinator of recruiting and Gulf Coast veteran Kelvin Bolden are both keeping an eye on him.
“I like Ole Miss. I want to try to get up there.”
