How to watch, listen to No. 6 Alabama basketball vs. Kent State

How to watch, listen to No. 6 Alabama basketball vs. Kent State

Alabama is back at home for a 2-game stretch of non-conference games before SEC play starts on Jan. 4. The first of those two games comes this Sunday against Kent State.

Kent State is a high-quality mid-major program, having made the NCAA Tournament twice since 2017 by winning the MAC, most recently in 2023, and came one game shy of going back to the tournament last season. The Golden Flashes currently sit at 8-2 on the season with no losses to teams outside the top-60 in KenPom. Kent State itself ranks No. 117 entering this game.

Alabama also comes into this game with two losses, both coming to ranked teams. Last time out, the Crimson Tide survived a more-difficult-than-expected road trip to North Dakota, winning by seven after getting the Fighting Hawks’ best game of the season.

The only other time Alabama and Kent State have played was in the second round of the 2002 NCAA Tournament when the 10-seed Golden Flashes upset the 2-seed Crimson Tide to move on to the Sweet 16.

These last two games against Kent State and South Dakota State won’t be resume-builders, but are great chances for Alabama to continue to figure out which lineups work the best and how to work the rotation entering SEC play in two weeks.

The game will tip off at noon C.T. tomorrow and will air on SEC Network.
