Hilltop Visits: SMU Volleyball’s Sam Erger, Ellie Bolton
Coming of the best season in the history of the program, SMU Volleyball is poised to begin the 2024 season this Friday in Hawaii. The Mustangs finished 2023 at 26-7 and American Athletic Conference champions. They also advanced to the second round of the NCAA tournament.
But this journey into the ACC is going to be a challenge. Picked sixth in the preseason poll, SMU also faces one of the toughest non-conference schedules ever crafted.
Hilltop Visits took time to visit with head coach Sam Erger and Portal Transfer and libero Ellie Bolton to discuss this inaugural ACC season.
