Green Bay Packers QB coach Tom Clements retiring
Longtime Packers offensive assistant Tom Clements is retiring, Matt LaFleur revealed to the media on Tuesday morning.
“Man, it’s been such a cool ride with him the past few years,” LaFleur said regarding Clements, paying his respect to the longtime Packers assistant, via Ryan Wood of USA Today.
Clements originally joined Green Bay in 2006, where he worked his way up from the team’s quarterbacks coach to their offensive coordinator and assistant head coach by 2016. After a couple of years away, he returned to the franchise in 2022, where he’s thrived teaching players like Jordan Love in his original role with the team.
