WHAT’S UP TODAY
First up this morning in your Miami Hurricanes news?
It has now been almost two months since 2024 Miami (Fla.) Columbus defensive lineman Daylen Russell announced his pledge to the Hurricanes, and every day since, he has woken up thankful that he is a Miami commit. We catch up with him for an Inside The Lines feature.
Plus On3 released its latest rankings update earlier this week, the third recruiting rankings update of the year, which aims to offer fans the most accurate and up-to-date ranking of prospects in this year’s recruiting cycle. We have five new Miami recruit rankings to love in the latest On300.
Then there’s an item that pertains to thirteen of Miami’s sixteen commits in the 2024 recruiting class being listed as three-star recruits … after On3’s most recent recruiting rankings update, several players are close to earning a four-star rank. Read about that.
In football team news? We continue to take an in-depth look at each recruiting class that makes up Mario Cristobal’s roster. Over the last two days, CaneSport broke down a 2019 Miami recruiting class and a 2020 class that each failed on numerous levels. Today it’s on to the 2021 class.
CaneSport also is breaking down the top 30 Miami players on the roster, and today we’re at No. 19, WR Colbie Young.
And, as always, stay tuned today for any news that may come up.
