WHAT’S UP TODAY

First up this morning in your Miami Hurricanes news?

The football team returns to the practice field this morning, so make sure to tune in later this a.m. for practice videos of the team’s work, notes from the practice field and post-practice feedback from the team.

While you’re waiting on that content, we have some recruiting news for you off some key weekend visits.

First up is Ft. Lauderdale St. Thomas Aquinas 4-star RB Jordan Lyle, who left Coral Gables with a great first impression of the Hurricanes and is excited with what head coach Mario Cristobal is building.

Then we catch up with Hialeah (Fla.) Westland Hialeah four-star cornerback Jamari Howard. He has been committed to Michigan State since September of 2022, but he is not shutting the door on other programs around the country. Including Miami.

Then there was the latest on QB Air Noland, a huge priority who is announcing Saturday. Don’t miss what’s going on there.

Miami has landed on Ackerman (Miss.) Choctaw County 2025 four-star receiver Caleb Cunningham’s radar quickly early into his recruitment. He says Miami is “at the top of my list.”

We also update Washington (Okla.) 2025 tight end Nate Roberts. He has turned into a hot commodity in his recruiting class, and Miami has hopped on the bandwagon with an offer.

And, as always, stay tuned today for any news that may come up.

MESSAGE BOARD POST OF THE DAY

Could you have dreamed we’d be in final 4 back in November? Posted by Kevinf57

This was a treat. A small group of players BELIEVED in themselves, and had a coach that elevated and encouraged those dreams. We had some really good recruits and some decent transfers; a guy from Ark. St., another from KSU, and a guy from George Mason. These were not three McDonalds All Stare brought in from Blue Blood programs. This was an extraordinary build by one of the best coaches in CB.

I enjoyed every minute this group provided and I hope you all did as well.

MIAMI HURRICANES QUOTE OF THE DAY

“From this practice and the spring game last year, it’s like night and day. The offense is just that much better. The offensive line is that much better than last year, the receivers are great receivers, the running backs are looking good, and they also have two guys coming in that are astonishing playmakers too. Miami looks like it’s back on its tracks.”
