WHAT’S UP TODAY
First up this morning in your Miami Hurricanes news?
We continue our post-spring breakdown, this time taking a look at five key things we learned about the offense during the spring practices.
The transfer portal is also open for business, of course, and Braxton Fely is set to visit Miami next week. We have that news for you. Also check out our second portal window tracker with all the updated information.
There also was the big news that the Miami basketball team added 6’7″ Slovakian Forward Timotej Malovec to 2025 roster. He played for KK Mega Bemax, the same team as Denver Nuggets center and three-time league MVP Nikola Jokić. Find out all about that.
In recruiting? Stephen Wagner has your post-spring Q&A, taking on all your questions.
This morning the Miami Hurricanes are set to host one of the nation’s best pass catchers — Santa Ana (Calif.) Mater Dei four-star tight end Mark Bowman. We get his take heading into it.
Another update is with Daytona Beach (Fla.) Spruce Creek three-star 2026 defensive tackle Freddie Wilson. He has kept Miami in his top four schools this spring along with Minnesota, Georgia Tech and Houston and shares the latest after visiting UM this weekend.
And On300 Jacksonville (Fla.) Mandarin cornerback Brody Jennings was back in Miami this past weekend for the Hurricanes’ spring game, and it’s safe to say the Michigan commit was impressed with everything he saw in Coral Gables.
Plus a new offer went out to Orlando (Fla.) Edgewater 2026 linebacker Justin Edwards. We have his thoughts.
And, as always, stay tuned today for any news that may come up.

MESSAGE BOARD POST OF THE DAY
Carson Beck throwing again … Posted by eplanas
Got several months before fall practices start. Let’s be careful and make sure to have no setbacks. Hopefully by the second half of summer he will have worked his way into throwing deep balls and developing timing with WRs.
MIAMI HURRICANES QUOTE OF THE DAY
“Miami does have the defensive coordinator from Minnesota, so that really helps a lot. And Miami being so close to the crib, it will help with the recruitment. The experiences I’ve had with Miami so far are playing a big role, so that’s really what I think is helping Miami.”
