Georgia On3 High School Boys Basketball Composite Rankings Top 25 – Feb. 21

As Georgia high school boys basketball heads to the playoffs, the best teams dominate the Georgia On3 Composite Team Rankings. Here are the top 25 teams, with five included in the nationwide top 100.
The On3 Composite High School Basketball Team Ranking is a proprietary algorithm that compiles rankings listed in the public domain by respected High School media and data companies. It includes Massey, Max Preps, Cal Preps, ESPN, and SI, creating the most comprehensive and geographically balanced High School Team Ranking.
1. Grayson
The Rams opened the Georgia high school boys basketball Class 6A state tournament with a 76-58 victory over Harrison. That victory improves their mark to 26-2 for the season and they will face Meadowcreek in the next round on February 22. Defeating the Hoyas also made Grayson the 15th-best team in the nation.
2. Wheeler
The Wildcats dominated in the first round of the Class 6A state tournament with a 90-38 result over Colquitt County. That’s their 25th victory of the season against three losses and they will face Chapel Hill in the next round. Wheeler is the 19th-best team in the country, based on the On3 Composite Rankings.
3. McEachern
The Indians improved to 24-4 after their 69-54 victory over Grovetown in the first round of the Class 6A playoffs. The 67th-best team in the United States will face Norcross in the next round on February 22.
4. Pace Academy
The Knights are at 24-4 for this high school boys basketball season after beating Central in the first round of the Class 4A state tournament. That victory also extends their winning streak to eight games after back-to-back losses to McEachern and Lima Senior. The nation’s 94th-best team will face Kell in the next playoff round.
5. Woodward Academy
The War Eagles opened the Georgia Class 5A state tournament with a 69-50 victory over McIntosh. Deke Cooper had 14 points and 11 rebounds, while Donovan Johnson added ten. Jarvis Hayes Jr. and Zachary Foster added eight points apiece. Woodward Academy, ranked 98th in the country, will face Milton in the next round of the playoffs.
6. Milton
The Eagles earned their 21st win of the season against Riverwood 70-64. It’s their second consecutive victory after losing to Lanier and their seventh victory in the last eight games. Milton will clash with Woodward Academy in the succeeding playoff round.
7. Holy Innocents Episcopal School
The Golden Bears opened the Georgia high school boys basketball Class Private state tournament with a 93-38 domination of Aquinas. They are on an eight-game winning streak, which they can extend against Landmark Christian in the next playoff round on February 22.
8. Sandy Creek
The Patriots outclassed Monroe Area in the opening round of the Class 3A state tournament 84-32. That victory extended their winning streak to ten games, which they’ve won with double-digit leads. Sandy Creek progresses in the tournament against Westover on February 22.
9. Newton
The Rams will proceed to the next round of the Class 6A state tournament after a 75-60 victory over Hillgrove. That’s the perfect response after losing to Grayson to close the regular season. Newton will proceed in the high school boys basketball playoffs against Peachtree Ridge on February 22.
10. Etowah
The Eagles improved to 22-6 after their 61-53 win over Valdosta. Despite splitting their last four games before that result, Etowah is moving on to round 2 of the Class 6A playoffs against Buford on February 22.
