Georgia has the attention of in-state 2025 4-star OL Juan Gaston

Georgia has the attention of in-state 2025 4-star OL Juan Gaston

The proof is in the pudding at Georgia for Atlanta (Ga.) Westlake 2025 four-star offensive tackle Juan Gaston.

Since 2016, Georgia has seen 12 offensive linemen drafted. To the No. 97 overall prospect in the 2025 On3 Industry rankings, Georgia is a path to development and a path to the next level.

“When I think about Georgia and their offensive tackles, it feels like I could go there and be a first-rounder,” Gaston said.

Georgia’s culture is a big selling point as well.

“They’re a really good program,” Gaston said. “They’re good at winning and getting their team to be disciplined and they’re physical.”

The Bulldogs were one of the first programs to enter the recruitment of the 6-foot-8, 330-pound offensive lineman. They’ve remained a constant.

He’ll return to Athens for a visit on June 1. Gaston was on campus back on Jan. 28. This time around Gaston hopes to look more deeply into the academics.

He’s learned a lot about Georgia on the field, though he hopes to take another look at the football side of things as well.

“I’m looking to get a feel of the academic side of things, their facility as well as their campus,” Gaston said.

Juan Gaston shaping up to be a major target in the class of 2025

Gaston could be a major priority for the Bulldogs in the class of 2025. The Bulldogs only have one offensive line prospect committed in the class of 2024 in Malachi Tolliver.

Georgia signed five players along the offensive line in 2023. Gaston is looking at the lay of the land in Athens and hoping that if he ends up a Georgia Bulldog, he could have an early impact.

“It’d mean a lot if I could go over there and start as a freshman,” Gaston said.

On3’s Recruiting Prediction Machine favors Georgia at the moment. The Bulldogs have a 48.5 percent chance of landing the four-star offensive lineman according to RPM.

Gaston will see multiple programs this spring. He confirmed to On3’s Director of Recruiting Chad Simmons that he’ll visit seven programs this summer.

Gaston will visit Clemson for the first time on May 31. He’ll travel to Austin to visit Texas on June 3. Gaston will be in Knoxville visiting Tennesee on June 8 before heading to Columbus to visit Ohio State on June 15.

Gaston will be in Eugene on June 22 and at South Carolina on June 24.
