GameQuest: Tennessee heavy favorites over Virginia in season-opener
GameQuest, a Volquest football gameday podcast, returns to the site this year and will be hosted by Eric Cain and Grant Ramey. The two will be joined by plenty of former Tennessee football players over the course of the season and breakdown the upcoming matchup hours before kick.
This will be your go-to Tennessee football podcast on the way to Neyland Stadium this fall – or to Nashville this weekend.
It’s Tennessee and Virginia for the season-opener, set to kickoff at noon eastern from Nashville’s Nissan Stadium. The Vols are a comfortable 27.5-point favorites and looking to build on an 11-win campaign a season ago. Virginia returns to the gridiron for the first time since tragedy struck the program last November with three fallen football players. There will be a moment of silence beforehand and Tennessee will don decals of the thee numbers the Virginia players wore.
