FOX Sports announces Texas-Michigan was most-watched game of 2024 with 9.35 million viewers

Last weekend’s Week 2 clash between Texas and Michigan didn’t end up being the most exciting game of the slate that was, but FOX Sports is certainly enthusiastic over the ratings.

On Tuesday, FOX Sports revealed via social media that the Longhorns-Wolverines showdown was the most-watched game of 2024, as well as the most-watched telecast of the day for any network, with 9.35 million viewers.

“FOX’s BIG NOON SATURDAY matchup featuring Texas’ decisive victory over Michigan scored 9.35 million viewers,” FOX Sports PR posted on X. “(No. 1) Most-watched college football game this season on any network. (No. 1) Most-watched telecast of the day on any network.”
