Four-star Texas DT to check out Penn State

Penn State’s Lasch Bash barbecue list continues to grow, as the Nittany Lions will host targets from all over the country. The latest confirmation comes from the Lone Star State. Arlington (Texas) Mansfield Timberview Class of 2025 defensive tackle Dilan Battle confirmed his plans to attend with BWI on Sunday.
The 6-foot-3, 315-pound Battle picked up an offer from Penn State defensive line coach Deion Barnes on May 8. The Nittany Lions join a crowded field that includes Arkansas, Auburn, LSU, Miami, Michigan, Oklahoma, TCU, Texas, Texas A&M, USC and others. Battle has taken visits to Arkansas, TCU and Texas this year.
A four-star prospect by the On3 Industry Rankings, Battle is the No. 281 player in the next cycle and the No. 29 defensive lineman nationally. He’s the No. 49 prospect in Texas in the Class of 2025.
Penn State will host several top prospects when the recruiting period opens back up next week. Here’s a look at our latest list of expected visitors for the Lasch Bash.
