Four-star shooting guard Mikey Lewis the latest high profile offer for Ole Miss
Prolific Prep (Calif.) shooting guard Mikey Lewis received an offer from Wes Flanigan and Ole Miss on Monday. The 6-foot-3, 170 pound prospect jumped up to No. 59 in the recent 2024 On3 150 update. He averaged 18.1 points with the Oakland Soldiers on the Nike EYBL Circuit this summer. He shot 38.7 percent from three during the last few months.
He previously played at Accelerated Prep (Colo.) before transferring to the power academy in Napa. As a sophomore at Denver Prep Academy, he averaged 13.8 points, four rebounds and four assists per game.
Lewis is the No. 61 overall prospect, per On3’s Industry Ranking. He is the 15th-ranked shooting guard and the No. 7 overall recruit in the state of California after transferring for his senior season.
On3’s Jamie Shaw has seen Lewis’ rise first-hand.
“Lewis is one of the better natural scorers in the 2024 class. The No. 59 player in the 2024 On3 150 has averaged 22.0 points on 36.4 percent shooting from three throughout Peach Jam. Lewis says he does not have any visits yet; however, he is working on dates with Illinois, Syracuse, San Diego State, St. Mary’s, and LSU. The four-star guard also notes Arkansas has recently started reaching out.”

On3 caught up with Mikey Lewis after a recent live viewing to talk about his recruitment.
“Distance doesn’t really affect me too much anymore,” Lewis said. “I’ve been away from my parents and family the last two years, so I got used to it. I’m really just trying to find the best fit and best situation for me.
“I’m looking for somewhere I can really grow and develop as a player. A place that will give me the best opportunity to make the NBA. I would like to have the ball in my hands, so I can work on facilitating. But I definitely understand that my strong suit right now is scoring without the ball. But, playing both is important.”
Looking ahead to 2025, though, Ole Miss has zero commits. But the new staff has extended several offers.
