Former USC LS Jake Olson takes brutal shot at Oregon fans amid Rose Bowl first-half blowout
Oregon’s first half performance against Ohio State in the Rose bowl on Wednesday drew criticism from across social media as the Ducks trailed the Buckeyes 34-8 at the break.
One of the most brutal takes on the Ducks’ first half performance came from former USC longsnapper Jake Olson. Olson, who famously became the first completely blind athlete to play in a Division I football game in 2017, pulled no punches as he poked fun at Oregon’s first half defecit.
“When I was told I would have to lose my one and only eye and go completely blind, I was sad to think how I’d never be able to actually see USC win another championship,” his post on X reads. “But then I thought about all the Oregon fans and told myself, if they could do it, so could I!:
