Former Georgia OL Warren Ericson invited to Denver Broncos rookie minicamp
The Denver Broncos have invited former Georgia offensive lineman Warren Ericson to their rookie minicamp, NFL insider Aaron Wilson reported. Ericson went undrafted this past weekend in the 2023 NFL Draft, but will have a chance to impress and earn a spot on the Broncos roster.
Per the NFL’s offseason schedule, the minicamp will take place either May 5-8 or May 12-15. Denver has not yet announced which period it will hold the camp in.
Ericson started 14 games at right guard for Georgia during its 2021 national championship run. He moved to center this past season and worked in a backup role as the Bulldogs won their second straight title.
A Duluth, Georgia native, Ericson played high school football for Northview High School, where he was a four-star prospect. He ranked as the No. 268 overall player and No. 17 interior offensive lineman in the 2018 class according to the On3 Industry Rating, a weighted average that utilizes all four major recruiting media companies.
Ericson will hope his experience playing multiple positions pays off and he can find a home in the NFL, be it with Denver or another team.
