Former Colorado OC Mike Sanford offers unbiased info on Colorado transfers amid portal drama
Former Colorado offensive coordinator and interim head coach Mike Sanford has offered to speak to any coach interested in recruiting any potential former Buffaloes players in the NCAA Transfer Portal. His tweet comes amidst a mass exodus in Boulder, Colo., as over 50 players have departed the program.
“If any Coaches want unbiased info on any of the CU players in the Portal, shoot me a DM with your number and I’ll call you,” Sanford tweeted. “I’ll shoot you straight…I have no dog in the fight!”
Deion Sanders arrival as head coach of the Buffaloes came with the proclamation that he was going to change the program. One of the ways he said he was going to do that was by cleaning house.
He has done that and then some with the transfer portal. Very few players appear to be save from Sanders asking them to leave as statistical leaders from last season, legacy players and even players he recruiting in the transfer portal in the winter have all entered in the April opening of the portal.
