Forecasting the Ole Miss defense depth chart a month out from fall camp

Fall camp is going to get underway for Ole Miss football in a month and with head coach Lane Kiffin making his 2023 SEC Media Days appearance two weeks from today the preseason practices feel even closer.

Prior to the start of the spring practices The Ole Miss Spirit took a stab and projecting the Rebels depth charts could be on either side of the ball.

With those four weeks of spring in the books and a couple months of summer workouts and transfer portal activity it is time to dust off the depth chart projections and give them a little update.

First off will be the defensive side of the ball as that has more potential to be fluid in spots than the offense does as camp rolls along in August.

The defensive line appears all but set, making it the easiest group to serve up a depth chart for. Though the rest of the Ole Miss defense looks good on paper but practices and performance throughout camp could create musical chairs.

The Ole Miss secondary is the one group that could see the most fluidity and shifting, but mostly behind the established starters that are returners from the Rebels 2022 squad.
