Performance of the Week
Cam Buffington
Iowa linebacker commit Cam Buffington was all over the field for Winfield-Mt. Union in their 70-20 win over Montezuma on Saturday.
On offense, Buffington had 15 carries for 139 yards along with eight catches for 246 yards and scored six touchdowns. On defense, he added three tackles and one tackle for loss in the game.
Through four games, Buffington has 40 tackles, six tackles for loss, and one fumble recovery on defense. On offense, he has 53 carries for 533 yards, 16 catches for 511 yards, and 17 touchdowns this season.
Winfield-Mt. Union (4-0) hosts English Valleys this Friday with kickoff scheduled for 7 PM.

Jaylen Watson
Iowa defensive back commit Jaylen Watson had two tackles on defense and six catches for 102 yards on offense as Toledo Central Catholic beat De La Salle 28-23 on Friday.
Through five games, Watson has 10 tackles on defense and 31 catches for 419 yards and three touchdowns on offense this season.
Central Catholic (5-0) hosts St. Ignatius this Friday with kickoff scheduled for 7 PM.

Gavin Hoffman
Iowa tight end commit Gavin Hoffman had four catches for 89 yards in Blue Valley Northwest’s 28-14 win over Blue Valley on Thursday.
Through three games, Hoffman has nine catches for 156 yards and one touchdown this season.

KJ Parker
Iowa wide receiver commit KJ Parker had five catches for 56 yards on offense and five tackles and one pass breakup on defense in IC Catholic Prep’s 36-34 win over Nazareth Academy on Friday.
Through four games, Parker has 10 catches for 158 yards and one touchdown on offense and five tackles and one interception on defense this season.
IC Catholic Prep (4-0) hosts Chicago Marist this Friday with kickoff scheduled for 7:30 PM.

James Resar
Iowa quarterback commit James Resar was 4/14 passing for 35 yards with no touchdowns and two interceptions in Bishop Kenny’s 31-21 loss to Bishop Moore on Friday.
Through two game, Resar is 33/50 passing (66.0%) for 512 yards with five touchdowns and two interceptions. He also has 15 carries for 123 yards rushing and one touchdown on the ground this season.
Bishop Kenny (2-1) hosts West Nassau this Friday with kickoff scheduled for 7 PM.
Drew Campbell
Iowa defensive end commit Drew Campbell had five tackles in Cedar Falls’ 35-19 win over Iowa City Liberty on Friday.
Through four games, Campbell has 23.5 tackles and six tackles for loss this season.
Cedar Falls (2-2) hosts Linn-Mar this Friday with kickoff scheduled for 7 PM.
Josh Janowski
Iowa offensive line commit Josh Janowski helped Lincoln-Way East stay undefeated with a 27-3 win over Bradley-Bourbonnais on Friday.
Lincoln-Way East (4-0) travels to Andrew this Friday with kickoff scheduled for 7:30 PM.

Devan Kennedy
Iowa defensive end commit Devan Kennedy had five tackles and one sack in Brophy College Prep’s 37-20 win over Chaparral on Thursday.
Through four games, Kennedy has 15 tackles, 2.5 tackles for loss, 1.5 sacks, and nine quarterback hurries this season.
Brophy College Prep (3-1) travels to Notre Dame Prep this Friday with kickoff scheduled for 7 PM.

Reece Vander Zee
Iowa wide receiver commit Reece Vander Zee had 25 yards passing, 78 yards rushing, and two touchdowns on offense and one tackle on defense as Central Lyon/George-Little Rock beat Sheldon 47-14 on Friday.
Through four games, Vander Zee has 377 yards passing, 432 yards rushing, 60 yards receiving, and 11 touchdowns on offense and 10.5 tackles, one tackle for loss, and one interception on defense this season.

Cody Fox
Iowa offensive line commit Cody Fox and his East Buchanan team struggled to get much going offensively in a 46-0 loss to Starmont on Thursday. On defense, Fox had 4.5 tackles in the game and now has 21.5 tackles, two tackles for loss, and 1.5 sacks this season.
East Buchanan (2-2) hosts North Linn this Friday with kickoff scheduled for 7:30 PM.
Joseph Anderson
Iowa defensive end commit Joseph Anderson had three tackles in Westminster’s 50-7 loss to Lutheran North on Saturday.
Through four games, Anderson has 19 tackles, two tackles for loss, and one sack this season.
Westminster (0-4) travels to Priory this Saturday with kickoff scheduled for 1 PM.
Will Nolan
Iowa offensive line commit Will Nolan led the way as Hersey stayed undefeated with a 67-0 win over Vernon Hills on Thursday.
Hersey (4-0) travels to Buffalo Grove this Friday with kickoff scheduled for 7:30 PM.
Derek Weisskopf
Iowa linebacker commit Derek Weisskopf had four tackles and one tackle for loss on defense and four catches for 70 yards and two touchdowns on offense in Williamsburg’s 48-14 win over Fort Madison on Friday.
Through four games, Weisskopf has 19.5 tackles and one tackle for loss on defense, 10 catches for 154 yards and three touchdowns on offense, and is averaging 43.2 yards per punt this season.
Williamsburg (4-0) hosts South Tama this Friday with kickoff scheduled for 7:30 PM.
Bodey McCaslin
Iowa offensive tackle commit Bodey McCaslin and his St. Charles East team lost 35-14 to Wheaton North on Friday. Defensively, McCaslin had six tackles and one tackle for loss in the game and now has 15 tackles, three tackles for loss, and one sack on the season.
St. Charles East (1-3) travels to Lake Park this Friday with kickoff scheduled for 7 PM.

Preston Ries
Iowa linebacker commit Preston Ries led Monticello to a 38-20 win over Anamosa on Friday. No stats available yet.
Going into the week, Ries had 28 tackles, 6.5 tackles for loss, and one sack on defense as well as 710 yards passing, 205 yards rushing, and five touchdowns on offense.
Monticello (3-1) hosts Northeast this Friday with kickoff scheduled for 7:30 PM.
Michael Burt
Iowa tight end commit Michael Burt and his Creighton Prep team lost to Millard West 20-7 on Friday. No stats available yet.
Going into the week, Burt had nine catches for 122 yards this season.
Creighton Prep (1-4) hosts Omaha Burke this Thursday with kickoff scheduled for 7 PM.
Xavier Williams
Iowa running back commit Xavier Williams missed his third straight game with a knee injury but hopes to return to the lineup this coming week. His Lake Central team picked up a 17-12 win over La Porte on Friday.
Playing in two games this year, Williams has 42 carries for 277 yards and five touchdowns on the season.
Lake Central (3-2) hosts Michigan City this Friday with kickoff scheduled for 7 PM.
Brevin Doll
Unfortunately, Iowa running back commit Brevin Doll is out for the rest of the season with a broken arm. His ADM team picked up a 47-14 win over Norwalk on Friday.
Playing in three games this season, Doll had 40 carries for 347 yards and four touchdowns rushing, six catches for 116 yards and two touchdowns receiving, and 144 return yards this season.
ADM (3-1) travels to Boone this Friday with kickoff scheduled for 7 PM.
Chima Chineke
Iowa defensive line commit Chima Chineke and his Plano East team had a bye week on the schedule.
Through three games, Chineke has 18 tackles, six tackles for loss, one sack, and one pass deflection this season.
Plano East (2-1) hosts Plano this Friday with kickoff scheduled for 7 PM.
Rashad Godfrey
Iowa defensive back commit Rashad Godfrey and his Armwood team had a bye week on the schedule.
Through three games, Godfrey has 12 tackles, one pass deflection, and one fumble recovery this season.
Armwood (3-0) travels to Tampa Jesuit this Friday with kickoff scheduled for 7:30 PM.
Graham Eben
Preferred walk-on linebacker commit Graham Eben had seven carries for 69 yards and four touchdowns on offense and two tackles on defense as Central Lyon/George-Little Rock beat Sheldon 47-14 on Friday.
Through four games, Eben has 7.5 tackles on defense as well as 77 yards passing, 351 yards rushing, 76 yards receiving, and 16 touchdowns on offense this season.

Iowa preferred walk-on tight end commit DJ Vonnahme had 34 yards rushing, 52 yards receiving, and two touchdowns in Kuemper Catholic’s 42-7 win over Roland-Story on Friday.
Through four games, Vonnahme has 196 yards passing, 48 yards rushing, 77 yards receiving, and five touchdowns on offense and three tackles on defense this season.
Kuemper Catholic (2-2) travels to Greene County this Friday with kickoff scheduled for 7 PM.

Iowa preferred walk-on defensive line commit Trent Cakerice had one tackle and half a tackle for loss in Grundy Center’s 49-0 win over East Marshall on Friday.
Through four games, Cakerice has 18.5 tackles, 6.5 tackles for loss, and three sacks this season.

Cole Marsh
Iowa preferred walk-on tight end commit Cole Marsh had one tackle in Waverly-Shell Rock’s 28-25 loss to Clear Lake on Friday.
Through four games, Marsh has four catches for 45 yards and one touchdown on offense and 4.5 tackles, two tackles for loss, and one sack on defense this season.

Class of 2025 offensive tackle commit Nicolai Brooks led the way as Cedar Rapids Kennedy’s offense racked up 361 yards including 200 on the ground on their way to a 45-7 win over Cedar Rapids Washington on Friday.
