Florida High School Football Scores: Columbus, Northwestern open with wins, IMG Academy falls
The first week of the Florida high school football season is underway.
A slate chock-full of top programs kicks off the 2024 season as the Sunshine State’s best begin their quests for a state championship. Two in-state clashes between Florida On3 Massey Ratings top-25 programs are set for this week as other top teams will take on elite out-of-state opponents.

The On3 Massey Ratings — which were officially used during the BCS era and have generated college high school sports team rankings since 1995 — rank sports teams by analyzing game outcomes, strength of schedule and margin of victory.
