Florida commit Jalen Wiggins talks official visit to Stanford

Tallahassee (Fla.) Rickards On300 defensive lineman Jalen Wiggins has been committed to Florida since January but continues to keep his options open.

One of those other programs the four-star Wiggins has a keen eye on is Stanford. The blue-chipper took an official to Palo Alto over the weekend.

“I really enjoyed my visit to Stanford,” Wiggins said. “Some big highlights for me were the support from not only the staff but previous alumni and professors. 

“I also really enjoyed hanging around players and commits.”

The 6-foot-5, 235-pound Wiggins sees some unique things at Stanford that he values.

“The companies and startups that come out of the school from alumni are crazy and them being a top-notch school for education and all sports at the school makes it great,” he said.

Wiggins will take his official visit to Florida this weekend. He’ll return to local Florida State on June 21.

The On3 Industry ranks Wiggins as the nation’s No. 7 defensive lineman and No. 88 prospect overall.
