Fletcher Cox  fiercely claps back at Le’Veon Bell after ‘blouse’ comment

Le’Veon Bell poked fun at Fletcher Cox for his interesting fashion choice during a recent interview with Michael Strahan on Fox NFL Sunday — and Cox has since responded.

This led many on social media to post their reaction to the former Philadelphia Eagles star’s unique attire. This included Bell, who was not exactly a fan of the fashion statement — which Cox took exception to.

“lol grown a** man wearing a blouse, I’m done [laughing emoji] they done got to ‘em,” Bell’s tweet read.

Cox responded in a quote tweet.

“You need my number my boy ???? I don’t do that internet talk !!!! I’m a real mf !!! TTM,” Cox’s response read.

Make of Cox’s fashion choices what you will, but it’s no shock that an NFL player (or former in this case) is looking to make a statement in the fashion world. Many players throughout the NFL and NBA make fashion a hobby, and Cox appears to be no different.

While this looks to just be an internet beef, it’s no surprise that the two took a shot at one another over social media given their NFL affiliations.

Cox played his entire 12-year pro career with the Philadelphia Eagles, while Bell is best known for his stint with the Pittsburgh Steelers. Being a part integral of two cross-state rival franchises, their paths did cross a time or two during their NFL careers.

Still, Bell played just five seasons in Pittsburgh before becoming a journeyman in the latter stages of his career. Rumors at the time revealed that Bell may have flirted with the idea of coming to Philadelphia in 2018, but that was later revealed to be hearsay. Bell later signed with the New York Jets and retired after the 2021 season.

Cox is recently retired, too, hanging up the cleats in March after the 2023-24 NFL season. He played 188 games for the Eagles and totaled 70 sacks over that time.
