Five-Star Plus+ QB Dylan Raiola excited about Georgia’s future, Elite 11 Finals

Phoenix (Ariz.) Pinnacle Five-Star Plus+ quarterback Dylan Raiola is headed to California this week for the Elite 11 Finals. The chance to compete against 19 of the best signal-callers in the country is a “super cool honor” for the 6-foot-2.5, 220-pound recruit.
Since May 15, Raiola has been committed to Georgia and a key part of the Bulldogs’ 2024 recruiting class, which ranks No. 1 in the 2024 On3 Industry Team Recruiting Rankings. He is hoping many other talented prospects join him in Athens.
“My guy KJ Bolden is definitely up there for me,” Raiola told On3. “Mike Matthews, Nathaniel Frazier, Daniel Calhoun, Marques Easley, Williams Nwaneri, Dylan Stewart and Aydin Breland from Mater Dei are some others. There’s a lot of guys.”
According to Raiola, Georgia’s group this cycle will be special. A key reason why is head coach Kirby Smart.
Raiola likes how Smart, who played for the Bulldogs, has taken his alma mater to great heights in recent seasons. He is confident that Georgia’s coaching staff will put him in a great position to succeed on the field.
“I think there’s no slowing down with this program and the way that coach Smart is relentlessly recruiting and relentlessly building his program and preaching it to these recruits,” said Raiola, the No. 1 overall prospect to the 2024 On3 Industry Ranking. “If you want to be a part of a winning program and a winning culture, Georgia’s the best place for that.”
Taking part in the Elite 11 Finals is a ‘blessing’ for Raiola
Raiola also noted that how Smart and his staff recruit are key assets to the Bulldogs. He believes that their family-oriented nature and authenticity have helped Georgia land blue-chip players from across the country.
“What you see is what you’re going to get,” Raiola said. “The guys to talk to, you can always text them, check in with them, see how they’re doing. They’ll do the same thing back.”
Raiola will spend time with a fellow Georgia commit at the Elite 11 Finals in Avon (Conn.) Avon Old Farms four-star quarterback Ryan Puglisi. The five-star is well aware of the talented quarterbacks who have previously participated in the event, which is one reason for his excitement.
Regarding his preparation, Raiola will come into the event with a plan to succeed, as well as learn and compete the best he can. The five-star is also looking forward to showcasing his talent and having fun.
“The Elite 11 is such a historic event for quarterbacks,” Raiola said. “It’s a blessing to be a part of.”
