Five-star ATH Michael Terry III has “great” visit to Oregon

It was a big recruiting weekend at Oregon on Saturday for the Ducks On The Hunt 2024 event with San Antonio (Texas) Alamo Heights five-star athlete Michael Terry III one of the top-ranked prospects on campus.

Terry told On3 it went “great.”

The On3 Industry’s No. 1 ranked athlete is strongly considering Oregon alongside the likes of Texas, Texas A&M, Nebraska and USC among others.

“It was a good experience as I predicted,” Terry continued. “Coach (Antonio) Parks, Coach (Dan) Lanning, Coach Will Stein and Coach (Ra’Shaad) Samples were great.  Talked a lot of football and hung out.”

The 6-foot-3, 210-pound Terry sees himself being prolific in Oregon’s offense.

“I like the way they shift formations and play fast off the ball,” Terry said.

Terry spoke highly of Oregon coming into the experience.

“Favorite thing about the Ducks is their advanced play calling and uniforms are always nice,” Terry said. “Coach Will Stein has been in contact with me ever since eighth grade and didn’t stop recruiting me even when he left UTSA and encouraging me to keep working hard to get better.”

On3 ranks Terry as the nation’s No. 16 prospect regardless of position.
